About the EF Challenge

The EF Challenge is an international speech competition giving students a platform to discuss positive social change.

Record a speech on our chosen question, earn a place at the Youth Leadership Forum in NYC, and visit the United Nations. This year, we want to know:

What global issue are you most
passionate about solving?

Get Inspired

Read the news, scour the internet and talk to your friends. What gets your heart racing? Think climate change, gender equality, data security, the future of technology. Mindmap solutions.

Remember, the EF Challenge is about diverse voices and unique perspectives. It's time to speak up and show us yours.

The Prize

Winners earn a week-long trip to New York for the Youth Leadership Forum, and a visit to the United Nations. This is your platform to generate change.

Requirements

  • Language

    Record your speech in English so your message is understood worldwide.

  • Length

    Keep your speech short – 3-4 minutes is perfect.

  • Age

    Students between 14-18 can participate.

  • Upload

    Put your speech on YouTube and share it with us.
